Greetings Everyone,
Welcome to my new blog !
I am looking forward to using this site as a creative outlet for my writings and sharing my life in India with all of you.
These past 3 years have been deeply intense and at the same time so very amazing. Full of grief & sadness .. and even more so in joy & happiness! I feel immense gratitude now, but it took a little bit (just a little bit!) of time to get there for me ! I look forward to sharing my process with you all and how out of complete darkness, a light emerged. This light (my inner Joy) has healed me and continues to heal me in so many ways. My parents named me Jaipreet (Victory of Love) and also named me Joy as well. It has been my quest to find this joy everywhere I could. However, I didn't realize that my quest would actually lead me back home to myself.. the joy would not emerge from making others happy (& I sure did try), it would emerge from deep within my own inner being. The yes's slowly became no's.. and as I strengthened my no's.. the Universe kept saying "yes" to me in ways I never even imagined or dreamed of.
I look forward to sharing my process of healing from anxiety, panic attacks, agoraphobia, people pleasing, narcissistic abuse & burn out. This healing process led to a beautiful manifestation of a life-long dream for me.
Until my next post.. I will leave you with a quote from Mahatma Gandhi, a quote I have been reflecting on since my recent visit to his home (now museum) in Mumbai.
In Gratitude,
Jaipreet (Joy)
